Pagan Priest plus Guests... by wordmongerer Pagan Priest plus Guests... by wordmongerer
Another commissioned set of colours (that I should have uploaded ages ago) for Brad Simmons: [link]

This time clockwise from left: Frostfire Fury, Pagan Priest, Weather Wish, Indian Summer, Rosary - all characters created by Brad in City of Heroes (I believe).

Original pencils and inks by gammaknight: [link]

Colours are by me.

oh dear oh me, not the tradition type of nun I am use to seeing lol. but I am sure she is a good guy. anyways each character stands out in their own right. the firey ground and the smoke in the background realy give it an interesting lift too. Good work on the smoke. lol I just had to say that. do you use a textured brush to do the smoke??? just curious

Thanks, it was a bit of a challenge as the characters all had very specific colour schemes that had to be followed so colour balance was not an option! Yeah I use lots of just off white, grey and black brushes at low opacity and very soft then I do the same thing with texture brushes. Always takes forever though, I'm sure there's an easier way...

Thanks, tried a slightly more traditional comic book colouring approach with this one which seemed to suit the style of artwork better.
